4. No Prescription Guarantee
Submitting an intake form or contacting Online Refills in no way guarantees that you will receive a prescription, medication refill, controlled substance authorization, or any clinical approval of any kind. All prescribing decisions are made solely and exclusively by independent, licensed healthcare professionals based on their professional judgment, applicable clinical standards, and applicable law.
Online Refills has no authority to influence, override, or pressure any prescribing decision. Any provider who declines to prescribe has exercised their lawful professional discretion, and Online Refills accepts no liability for such a determination.
5. Controlled Substances
Online Refills does not facilitate the procurement of controlled substances in violation of federal or state law. Prescribing of Schedule II–V controlled substances is subject to strict legal requirements including valid prescriber–patient relationships, in-person examination requirements under applicable law, and DEA regulations. Users who seek to circumvent these requirements may not use this Service.
6. State-Specific Regulations
The availability and scope of telehealth and prescription services varies significantly by state. The ability of any licensed healthcare professional to serve you through a referral may be limited by the laws of your state of residence. Online Refills makes no representation that any particular service, medication, or provider referral will be available in your state.
7. Emergency Medical Care
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, do not use this Site. Call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room. This Service is not equipped to handle medical emergencies and response times from our coordination team are not suitable for urgent or life-threatening situations.
